Papeletas are used for formal employee requests and notifications. The following are the primary purposes:
Verbal Warnings: Used for first-time minor infractions to formally notify employees.
Vacation Requests: Employees must submit a papeleta to request vacation days in advance.
Leave Permissions: Any absence due to personal matters, appointments, or unforeseen circumstances should be requested using a papeleta.
Notifying Changes: Employees should submit a papeleta to inform HR about any change in personal information, schedules, or internal movements.
🛠 Process for Submitting a Papeleta
The employee fills out the papeleta form, specifying the reason.
The direct supervisor reviews and approves/rejects the request.
HR records the papeleta and informs relevant departments (if applicable).
The employee receives confirmation of approval or denial.
An Acta Administrativa is used to document employee conduct and performance-related incidents beyond a first verbal warning. These are official records that may lead to further disciplinary actions or performance plans.
Types of Actas Administrativas:
Second Warning & Above: When an employee commits a repeat violation or a more serious infraction.
Performance Improvement Plan (PIP): Used to outline clear improvement objectives and a structured timeline.
Official Documentation: Acts as a formal record for legal compliance and dispute resolution.
🛠 Process for Issuing an Acta Administrativa
HR and the direct supervisor evaluate the incident and determine necessity.
A meeting is scheduled with the employee to discuss the issue.
The document is prepared and signed by all relevant parties.
The employee receives a copy and acknowledgment is recorded.
If further disciplinary action is required, HR follows escalation protocols.
All Medical Leave (incapacidad) from IMSS should be handled to HR directly.
Ensure correct legal entity name (razón social) is used before IMSS:

CDMX: Bussines Time RN SA de CV
Employees must provide medical documentation issued by IMSS or a recognized healthcare provider.
HR records and processes the leave to ensure compliance with labor laws.
Email HR & Accounting with the promotion request.
Ensure the salary increase is added as an observation in payroll for the corresponding week.
