first few days of school, we had a session with Ibu Windy about the challenges we might face in Year 6. From this, we were asked to make a group consisting of different students from different classes with different genders and we worked together to write down the strategies to overcome failure, especially in Year 6.
In a session with Pak Dan, we made a big group of students from mixed classes and wrote down things that might make us unable to work effectively in a group. Some challenges include ineffective communication and inability to focus on a task. Then in the next Windy and Friends session, we were split to our big groups and presented the work. Each group member presented things that makes us work ineffectively in a group, to the teacher in charge. When we were finished, we came up with several solutions to solve our issues. Examples of those solutions are being brave, speaking up to your group members and being more open-minded to other ideas from people.
The Windy and Friends sessions are very useful to us because it can help us learn about how to overcome failure and ways to solve the challenge of ineffective teamwork.

In the student leadership process, the students start with choosing the job that they are interested in. Then, they send their CVs to the Year 6 teachers. After that, the students go through student leadership training with Ibu Sarah.
The students will start the student leadership process by choosing the roles that they are interested in. Year 6 teachers will provide a presentation that shows the student leadership roles available. The roles available for the students to pick are the House Captains, Mini Inquiry Groups (MIGs), ICT Leaders, Assembly Coordinator Supervisors, Playground Leaders, and Camp/Field Trip Leaders. Also, House Captains are the leaders of Elang, Rajawali, and Garuda. Mini Inquiry Groups (MIGs) leaders help direct the groups for the Windy & Friends session. The ICT leaders are people that help Pak Dan Carr teach the lower year levels how to use TinkerCad, eBook Creator, etc. Assembly leaders would organize and supervise students who would be the MCs of Primary Assembly. Playground Leaders help teachers on duty supervise the playground and make sure there are no problems or injuries. Camp/Fieldtrip Leaders attend meetings and share ideas and they help supervise students during camp or a field trip
Then, after the students have chosen the role they are interested in, they will send a CV to the Year 6 teachers. Some websites we used to help make our CVs are Resume Genius, and resume templates from Google Docs. Information we need to put into our CV is our experience, skills, achievements, and why you are the best person for the job. A CV should include your name, skills, experience, achievements and, of course, the name of the job that you’re signing up for.
After the student submits their CV to the teachers, the selected students go through student leadership training. The student leadership training is taught by Ibu Sarah. In the student leadership training, we learn our responsibilities and the learner profile attributes in our roles.
The student leadership is a really important role for students to enhance their abilities and responsibilities. This can really help the students in the future so they can have a sense of responsibility
