On Sunday, September 08th, 2019, Pasar Belanda was held at Netherland Embassy starting at 10.00 am – 05.00 pm. This annual event organized by the Erasmus Training Center (Etc.) and having a purpose of becoming a platform for Dutch and Indonesians not only to meet, reconnect, and expand their networks but also to introduce the Netherland culture, food, and craft. It also became a place for people to showcase product outside of Netherland, such as education by Global Jaya School.
Not only having a tenant, but Global Jaya School was also able to become an activity provider for all the kids who attend the events with their parents. Nearly 3000 people from many nationalities participated in the venue, and we had the opportunities to increase the awareness of Global Jaya School to the community.
During the event, Global Jaya School was the only education tenant which provide the K Level to Year 12 Level with an IB Curriculum. Also, we spread the words of our Open Day that will take place on 7th - 8th November 2019 so people can mark their calendar and attend our Open Day. We hope that we can continue to introduce our beautiful school to the community in Greater Jakarta.

Every year, Global Jaya School celebrates Idul Fitri and Idul Adha, and each year, we have a theme for the celebrations. This year's theme was about the environment; Save our Earth!
This year's celebration saw both Primary and Secondary Muslim students enjoying student performances. They also heard from a guest speaker who spoke about the environment from the Islamic perspective. Students learned that Islam encourages its followers and all people to take care of the environment and save the Earth from destruction and exploitation. Taking care of the environment is one of the good deeds Muslims can implement. Furthermore, as part of the Idul Adha celebration, Global Jaya School and Community continued its annual tradition of donating cows and sheep to a Mosque of Al-Ghofur near the school and distributed the meat to the needy in the surrounding community.
