Year 6

On Wednesday 26^th October 2022, Year 6 students participated in a field trip to Museum Art:1. The purpose of this activity is as part of the preparation for the upcoming PYP Exhibition and as an introduction to the next UOI unit under the trans theme “How We Express Ourselves”

During the visit to the museum, Year 6 students looked at various types of artwork, ranging from paintings, and sculptures to installation art. When the students looked at the artwork, they tried to interpret what the artwork tries to express and communicate to its audience. Students also tried to identify the reason why the artist used certain materials in their artwork. Hopefully, the students will take the experience when they are considering how to communicate their chosen topic during the upcoming Exhibition Days in February 2023.
