We are excited to share with you the highlights from our recent "Week Without Walls (WWW)," a unique program designed for Year 7-11 to enrich our students' experiences through community service, bonding activities, cultural experiences, and adventurous challenges. The WWW itself was conducted on 21-25 October 2025.
Program Overview: The "Week Without Walls" aimed to foster a sense of community and personal growth among our students. Over the course of the week, students engaged in various activities that emphasized teamwork, cultural awareness, and social responsibility.
Highlights of the Week:
Community Service: Students participated in various service projects, including volunteering at local schools, and local orphanages, planting, cleaning river/recycling, and organizing food for children. These activities not only helped our community but also instilled a sense of empathy and civic responsibility in our students.
Bonding Activities: To strengthen friendships and build new connections, students took part in team-building exercises and workshops. These activities encouraged collaboration and trust among peers, enhancing their interpersonal skills.
Cultural Experiences: Students explored diverse cultures through interactive workshops, guest speakers, and culinary experiences. This exposure broadened their perspectives and fostered an appreciation for the richness of different traditions in Indonesia.
Adventurous Challenges: The week also included outdoor adventures, such as hiking, canoeing, high rope, rafting, and team games. These activities promoted physical fitness and resilience, while also providing opportunities for students to push their limits and support one another.
Ubud Writer and Readers Festival (UWRF), is a program specific for Year 11 when they engage in joining a prestigious festival in Ubud Bali. students attend some workshops and meet writers.
Throughout the week, many students expressed how impactful these experiences were for them. They reported feeling more connected to their peers, gaining new insights into community service, and developing valuable life skills.
The "Week Without Walls" was a tremendous success, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of our students and the support of our staff and parents. We believe that programs like these play a vital role in shaping well-rounded individuals and nurturing a strong school community.
