Dear Global Jaya Community,
As a community, we have been busy with events that represent the culmination of several months of hard work. These events include the opening of our new soccer field, the Ib Asia Pacific Regional Workshop, and sending our Secondary students on the WWW trips. In all cases, teamwork has been at the heart of planning and ensuring success for each activity. It goes without saying that Global Jaya is fortunate to have a conscientious, considerate, and hard working faculty, staff, and parent community where everyone pulls together to support the school. I am grateful to all of these stakeholders for their continued time and support this academic year.
Looking into the remainder of term 2, we will be busy with many upcoming happenings, including our Parent Coffee focused on understanding Athletics and ASAs at Global Jaya, HawkCup, Global Connect, IB Day, Cat4 and iReady exams, as well as our Holiday Bazaar and Global Awards taking place on the last day of semester 1. It is these events that foster our sense of community and strengthen the bonds between students and faculty. Moreover, while these events are taking place, our students and teachers also maintain their focus on learning and ensuring our students meet or exceed their academic potential.
Our Admissions team continues accepting and processing applications for both the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 academic years. Additionally, our next Open Day event will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024. This event provides an opportunity for us to share with new and potential families all that is special about our school, our community, and why a Global Jaya School prepared and delivered International Baccalaureate continuum education is the best option for their children.
If you have colleagues, friends and/or family interested in learning more about joining our community, please encourage them to contact Ibu Kania, our GJS Admissions officer, at admission@globaljaya.com or by phone at +62 21 745 7562 Ext.154 for further details.
Please enjoy this month's edition of Kontak. Our final Kontak for the Semester will be published on December 13, 2024, coinciding with our last day before the semester holiday.
