Dear Global Jaya Community,
This week our Year 12 students finished their IB DP mock exams. The mock exams are one the final and major hurdles IB DP students will navigate as they approach the final exams. The mock exams provide valuable feedback to both students and teachers about our students' level of readiness for the actual DP exams, which will begin in April. To help families support their year 12 students with post-mock exam efforts, we provided a workshop on February 26th so that parents can fully understand how to use the mock exams as a preparation tool. Finally, our teachers will spend time analyzing the mock exam results to ensure that they provide feedback that will truly align with the needs of each year 12 student. Of course, if you have any questions that are DP related, please contact Pak Ram, our DP Coordinator at ramp@globaljaya.com. He is here to help.
Looking at the upcoming few weeks before the term break, please make sure you have signed up to attend MSCs on Thursday, March 12th, and Friday, March 13th. We look forward to full engagement across the school over these two days. For new or long-existing families of GJS, we strongly encourage you to meet your child(ren)'s teachers to discuss their progress to date this year. All Teachers, Principals and Leaders at GJS look forward to seeing you on campus during the Mid-Semester Conferences. With the conclusion of MSCs on the afternoon of March 13th, we will begin our Term 3 Break. Students and Faculty return to class with the start of Term 4 on Monday, March 30, 2025. Happy Holidays for all.
Our Admissions team continues accepting and processing applications for the 2026-2027 academic years. The next Open Day event will be on Friday, April 24, 2026. This event provides an opportunity for us to share with new and potential families all that is special about our school, our community and why a Global Jaya School prepared and delivered International Baccalaureate continuum education is the best option for their children.
If you have colleagues, friends and/or family interested in learning more about joining our community, please encourage them to contact Ibu Dewi Jayanti, our GJS Admissions officer, at admission@globaljaya.com or by phone at +62 21 745 7562 Ext.217 for further details.
As always, thank you for your support and please enjoy the February edition of Kontak.
