Rugby Session with rachel taylor & bethan davies

a chance to inspire

A group of learners from across the Grŵp who play rugby in their spare time, were given the opportunity to get together at Coleg Llandrillo for a fun rugby training session with RGC Regional Skills Coach and Ex Wales Captain Rachel Taylor and Wales Rugby 7's Squad player Bethan Davies whilst taking part in the filming of the ‘It Wont Stop Us’ campaign.

The session provided the opportunity for the learners to be coached and supported by inspiring and current female role models in the sport.

It was a great way for the learners to get together to share some time; learning new skills, having fun, and getting to know each other whilst enjoying the sport they love.

The session gave them the opportunity to have an open conversation about periods in a safe environment, and how to tackle the taboos around discussing menstrual cycles.
