Sexual health

The scheme will be run in accordance to the Fraser Guidelines (Gillick Competencies) governing young people and contraceptive advice and the Safeguarding Policy of Grŵp Llandrillo and underpin the College’s Wellbeing Pledge.

C-CARD Scheme

The C-Card Scheme is a North Wales wide provision to supply free condoms to young people to help reduce the risk of unplanned pregnancies, sexually transmitted infections and promote safer sexual relationships.

At every site a trained member of staff from our Welfare Team is able to either sign students up to the scheme, ensuring that they have had the correct information and demonstrations, or distribute free condoms to those already signed up. Learners who are signed up to the scheme can access free contraception at any outlet that is taking part in the scheme across North Wales.

If you are a learner with a partner provider, click on this link to find out about any community based C Card Schemes.

The service is friendly, approachable and not embarrassing - so please contact Welfare Services to access the free products and advice.
