Tirion Thomas

The first female Platinum GLLM Active Ambassador (2019-20), Tirion completed her Health & Social Care studies at Coleg Meirion Dwyfor (Dolgellau) with Distinction and has now started studying Midwifery at Swansea University.

Tirion was accepted as the first Active Ambassador on the National Young Ambassadors Steering Group and as a Member made contributions to many projects working with Sports Wales and Youth Sport Trust (2019) and is part of the team which has developed the ‘We’re On It Period’ National campaign with Sport Wales.

A rugby enthusiast, Tirion has captained the RGC U18’s Female Team (2018) and played for her region - RGC Women Team (2019). In addition to taking part in sport and completing her studies Tirion has; volunteered over 500 hours to develop and lead the Female Rugby Hub at Bala (Gwylliaid Meirionnydd), is a qualified rugby coach and referee and has supported many WRU community events.
