Kristina Aguilar

Kristina has some tips for learners, see what she has to say in her video interview.

Kristina is currently studying Biomedical Science at GLLM, Bangor and is hoping to attend University to study Pediatric Nursing. She has been an Active Ambassador since 2019, is now a Platinum Active Ambassador and is also a member of the National Youth Ambassadors' Steering Group.

In her spare time Kristina plays rugby for the U18's RGC Female Team and has played in the college squad in Colegau Cymru competitions.

Kristina has volunteered over 300 hours supporting the Engagement Officer and WRU Community Events over the past 2 years, including pre-engagement events at Stadiwm Zip World, coaching at the female Rugby Hub in Caernarfon (Mor Ladron) and recruiting new Active Ambassador's at GLLM.

As part of her role as an Active Ambassador, Kristina has also completed a Mental Health in Sport Awareness Course.

"I’m an ambassador because I feel it’s very important for others to participate in sports to help find themselves and their passion. I am hoping to gain new skills from being an ambassador and go through new experiences I never would have thought to try.”

"I think that periods is such a taboo topic that no one wants to talk about it, but if even just a small group starts talking about it then more people will want to talk about it and help"
