§ Illustration brief §

• Create an editorial illustration/artwork to accompany an article, with one of the topics as a starting point.

• Your final image must be thoroughly researched, and ideas must be developed and refined in your sketchbook

• You must find a specific article related to your topic, or a passage of writing from a book, and illustrate the text

Find three different article relevent to the topic that is related to the topic of gender stereotyping objects. I found several links relating to it hopefully, but a few ended up not so the thre topics i picked has a (*) at the end of the link

§ Drawing Exercises with Tilly §

Among 3 different articles pick 1 draw 3 rough sketches each sketch should be around 5 mins each.

In this article it mentions eating with strangers, bringing people together through food, in peoples houses.

I quite like it black and white because it looks like a kids worksheet of filling in the blanks. We talked about how it would be a great experiment if we handed kids blue and pink crayon and see what objects they’ll colour in . But yeah I’d maybe like to add another colour maybe a flesh colour

Unfortunaely I've lost the InDesign file so will have to redo it. but add in the colours

I've redone them and I'm happy with the outcome. maybe i couldve made some of the items in the c=glass bigger next time.
