Coming from a mix raced background and in a country that my parents werent from I've always been taught more about Chinese beliefs more than filipino or bolivian because It was what I've always been taught from kindergarten till this very day. I was always surrounded by Chinese culture and etiquette so the word "Taboo" for us was base more on superstitious meaning, I could've done a piece more about Hong kong's current events which involves "one country, two system" , Carrie Lam, the umbrella movement but whilst doing my first research it was a heavy topic for me as well as I didn't wanna produce any false information.

So instead I chose "福" (Fuk) [represents Good luck, Good fortune, Blessing ,Health] It's been heavily used in many ways and situations examples: It's on key charms as gifts, hanged on posters walls in restaurants, homes, office and even centres. and behind the word Luck many people believe that there are actions and mannerism to uphold in order for them to avoid any unlucky situations. So from memory and experience and some help from my friends back home in Hong Kong I've listed down a couple, well more than a couple and I believe that theres even more to it. But some of them are what most people in our age still believe in most common are the number 4 "四" (sì)/(Sei) sounds like Death "死" (Séi). And

I first outline the chinese character on my IPad using the app Procreate which allows me to fill in the colour make it look like gold and add some details like the words I've written by hand and paste in the shape of that character.
