Grid

Given this task working on a large scale was one of my weaknesses but after some time it was quite alright since we’re working on grids we can pick any size and numbers of space to work in, so knowing that was a bit of a relief but it was still a bit lathe for me. But in the end the final look was actually quite alright, though I always seem to doubt my abilities. I find ways to like the final work since I rarely have the experience working on a large scale.

I picked a few pieces of my work to include in the grid. They were mostly pieces from the BLM collage, and one of them was from textile work on dried seed heads which was a lotus seed head and a close up of a ginkgo leaf. I wasn’t really that confident on the sizes and how to place it in landscape, portrait, close up and such, so I picked some areas that I wanna draw and hopefully it would look as close to the original as possible.So far the outcome was not bad. I liked how I did the texture on the face of the button middle panel but I wasn’t happy with the shading of it.
