The world-famous Louvre Museum, located in Paris, France, was the target of a daring heist that took place on October 19, 2025, at approximately 9:30 a.m. local time. Eight pieces of jewelry, including items from the collections of Queen Marie-Amélie and Queen Hortense, were stolen, with an estimated value of $102 million. This incident closed the museum for three days, while also initiating a nationwide manhunt for these robbers.
