Workplace Injuries

If you sustain a workplace injury: 

• Immediately report any incident to your supervising teacher, administrator, and secretary.

• Follow all directions regarding completing a Workers' Compensation packet, documenting the injury properly, and obtaining medical care; if you need emergency care, go to your nearest ER.

• Attend any follow-up medical care appointments, as necessary.

• If necessary, discuss any workplace accommodations/modifications with the Office of Personnel Services before returning to work.

• If necessary, obtain and provide an approval to return to work.
