Paraeducators have the opportunity to sign up for extra duty shifts.  Extra duty is considered any work in your assigned job title beyond your contractual hours.  Based on availability, extra duty can be worked at any GGUSD school site, not just your assigned site.  Travel time between sites does not count as work time and will not be compensated for.  

For guidelines regarding maximum extra duty shift hours allotted for your specific job assignment, please contact your school site secretary.

• Log on to Frontline (Frontline is open for SpEd and TK paras only, GE paras please check with your school site secretary)

• Go into your Subprofile

• Go into Extra Duty Shifts

• You can select a shift even if it overlaps with your assigned shift 

• Mark 'sub' in your Frontline and write 'sub' on your timecard
