Career Life Connections 12 is a requirement for Graduation.
Career Life Connections 12 is a required course for students in BC and mandatory for high school graduation in tandem with the Career Life Education 10 course. The aims of Career Life Connections 12 are ongoing career-life development; deepening one’s awareness of factors that influence career-life decisions; to engage in networks and reciprocal relationships to guide and broaden career-life awareness; to solidify one’s well-being through one’s sense of purpose, and achieving career-life balance; finally, understanding that as a lifelong learner, and by partaking in active citizenship, one fosters career-life opportunities for self and others.
CLC 12 then culminates with the Capstone presentation wherein students share their learning journey in both an active and reflective manner. The Capstone provides students with the opportunity to shine by showcasing their strengths, passions, and possible aspirations post-graduation.
