We have a Valentines Party Activity called "Guess That Baby" where students will get to see baby pictures of their classmates and they try to guess who it is. We need your help by sending in a cute digital baby picture. Pictures where your child is between the ages of 6 months-2 years work great. We will display the baby pictures in a slideshow during our Valentines Party on Friday February 13th. Please email the picture to your child's homeroom teacher by Friday February 6th. Thank you in advance for your help!

Next week: We will begin Module 7: Tricksters and Tall Tales. This unit will focus on central idea, figurative language and character development. We will be writing imaginative stories and continue working on our RACES strategy.
This Week: This week we will review our fraction learning, take our math test, then dive into measurement!
Last Week: We used models and numberlines to add and subtract mixed fractions! We also learned about simplfying/reducing fractions.
This Week : We explored patterns in the water cycle and tracked types of weather and how climates change over time.
Next Week : We will continue learning about weather patterns and cycles and the differences between weather and climate.
This Week : We began our week 19 newspaper on "celebrating freedom". We will discuss the American deckaration of independence, the bill of rights, and the constitution.
