Exercise 1: Back Foot Drive
With a steady stance, transfer body weight to back foot towards to middle and off stumps.
Side on body position, balance, swing bat & follow through
Make sure your elbow is high and always watch the ball
Exercise 2: Top hand & Back Swing
Stand one or two feet away against the wall or chair
Hold the bat with top hand
Bring the bat down straight
Bat should not touch the chair or wall
Exercise 3: Wicket Keeping
Get a good base
Moving sideways, gather the ball with two hands
Eye on the ball
Focus on steady head position
Exercise 4: CHALLENGE DRILL
How many hits can you do in 1 minute?
