Overview:
Students will be able to master the basics and patterns of Karate. From the session, students will be attending Grading Assessments. Purpose of it is to view how well students have achieved the learning objectives or goals established for the sessions.
Programme Content:
White belt (3 levels)
Discipline of karate, stretching and conditioning, strengthening of muscles, basic blocking, kicking and punching and patterns.
Purple belt (3 levels)
Workout on bags and targets, practicing controlled punching, practice fixed and free sparring and patterns.
Brown belt (3 levels)
Tournament sparring, evading an attack, executing an attack, executing an effective attack, patterns, training to develop inner and mental strength to take blocks, kicks and punches on the body
Black belt
Test on proficiency of all the above items
Trial:
If your child is uncertain about committing to the entire Season, we offer the opportunity to participate in up to two trial sessions.
Please note that the trial sessions are chargeable.
We follow the UWCSEA Seasons (4) throughout the year, and have breaks in the UWCSEA school holidays.
We are able to pro rate the season fees if you start after the season has started.

Saturday: All Sessions (White & Purple / Brown & Black) 10:30am - 12.00pm
Cost (inclusive of GST) (additional 10% for non-UWCSEA students) :
$36 per session (1.5 hours)
