The Phoenix Football Club offers exceptional opportunities for young players who are passionate about football.
Led by experienced Coerver coaches, our year-round training programme is designed to complement school team training, ensuring players receive consistent, high-quality coaching to develop their:
Technical skills
Tactical understanding
Fitness and resilience
Confidence and teamwork
Both girls and boys are welcome to join. Training takes place at the AYE Field, UWCSEA Dover.
The HS Phoenix Football Club is designed for players who are committed to competing at a higher level. For the 2025 season, our U17 team will play in Division 1 of the Singapore Youth League (SYL).
Age Group: High School students (U17, born January 2008 or later)
Programme Focus: Advanced technical, tactical, and physical preparation for competitive youth football and progression into adult competitions
Competition Pathway: Competing in the SYL and other football opportunities (friendlies)
Coaching: High-level, consistent, and structured coaching from Coerver specialists
Commitment: Year-round training aligned with the College's Calendar

Our aim is to create a supportive, competitive, and inclusive football environment that prepares players for the demands of competitive youth football and provides a clear pathway into adult competitions.
The MS Phoenix Football Club provides exciting opportunities for younger players who are passionate about football and eager to develop their game.
Age Group: Middle School students (U15, born January 2011 or later)
The MS programme is designed to give boys and girls in Middle School a strong foundation in:
Technical skills (first touch, passing, dribbling, finishing)
Tactical understanding (teamwork, positioning, decision-making)
Fitness and resilience
Confidence and character both on and off the field
Training is led by experienced Coerver coaches, who deliver age-appropriate sessions that are both fun and challenging. The programme complements school team training and provides a pathway into the HS Phoenix Football Club and competitive leagues such as the Singapore Youth League (SYL).
Sessions are held year-round at the AYE Field, UWCSEA Dover.
Our aim is to create a supportive, inclusive, and competitive football environment that helps Middle School players grow as athletes, teammates, and individuals.
We are looking to form a Phoenix U15/U16 Boys & Girls’ Teams to represent Dover Phoenix in the JSSL in 2026.
At this stage, we are collecting sign-ups of interest only. Training will begin once we have sufficient numbers to form a team.

We follow the UWCSEA Seasons (4) throughout the year, and have breaks in the UWCSEA school holidays.
We are able to pro rate the season fees if you start after the season has started.

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Hailing from Liverpool in the United Kingdom, Owen is a Singaporean PR and resided here since 2003. Has his UEFA B, AFC B and A licenses and coached at both academy and first team professional level. Owen has been managing Coerver Singapore since 2012 whilst being the U19 UWC Coach for numerous years supporting Mike Little up until the 2019 season.

From England, Liam is an ex-professional football player in both England and Singapore. He has been coaching with Coerver Singapore since 2017 working at UWCSEA Dover across all the age groups at the school.
Liam is an amazing coach and currently heads the football program at the school for Coerver Coaching.
(OPERATIONS MANAGER)
From Kent in the UK, Jordan has been under the Coerver Singapore banner since 2017 with heading the football program at the Australian International school on behalf of Coerver Coaching Singapore. Prior to joining up with the Coerver team in Singapore Jordan, started his coaching journey at the Sandwich Technology football academy who at the time partnered with Chelsea Football Club. Back in 2010 Jordan underwent is FA coaching badges whilst playing academy football.
Since that period Jordan has gained over 11 years of coaching experience through all age groups and various international competitions and has since competed both his level 1 & 2 Diploma in Coerver Coaching and aspires undertake his UEFA Coaching licenses.
