Google Site Information
Accessing Your WKU Google Account which is available to all WKU Teacher Prep Students
Every education student now has a Google Account managed through WKU. You should use this instead of your personal Google account when working with your Mentor Teacher. It should be easier for districts to allow you access to their district Google accounts as well.
You will need to be signed into your WKU Google account.
Go to the Google homepage and sign in as you would for a personal gmail account but use the topper email account instead.
Student Teachers: It is the same username as your topper email but replace the word “topper” with “g” instead.
Student Teacher example: stephanie.martin270@g.wku.edu
Your password is the same as your topper email password.
University Supervisors: It is the same as your username as your WKU email, as well, but with a “g” added.
University Supervisor example: stephanie.martin@g.wku.edu
Your password is the same as your WKU email password.
Contact WKU IT Help Desk if you experience trouble with your WKU account if you still cannot access your WKU Google Account.

Be Sure all Settings are Open for Sharing!
It is essential that every document you share on your Google Site has the settings open for "Anyone with this link may view or may edit."
It becomes very frustrating to the University Supervisor and Mentor Teacher if you share documents that don't have the shared settings open. Please make this a priority as you use your site throughout the semester.
It is the responsibility of the Student Teacher to become very familiar with using the Google Site and all documents being shared on it with the University Supervisor and Mentor Teacher. There is no excuse for any Student Teacher to not have the Sources of Evidence kept up-to-date and easily accessible to the University Supervisor and Mentor Teacher.
Be sure you always click the Publish button every time you update your site. This means each time you add anything to a page.
