WHAT ARE WE LEARNING/HOMEWORK
WHAT ARE WE LEARNING/HOMEWORK
Over the next two weeks, the students will move from writing a single paragraph to constructing an essay. The children will learn how to write an introductory paragraph with a focus statement, two body paragraphs providing an expansion of their ideas, and a conclusion paragraph. Students will continue to practice revision and editing skills daily. The students will also learn how to revise their work, add appropriate transitions and transitional phrases. Finally, the children will edit and proofread their essays.
