Next week the children will write a new pourquoi tale independently including a beginning that establishes a situation, the setting, and introduces the characters. The middle of their stories will introduce thhe problem and show how the characters respond to the problem. The ending of their stories will provide a solution to the problem. The children will also learn about how to form and use comparative and superlative adjectives and adverbs.
Reading comprehension packets are sent home weekly for daily practice.
Students will continue their unit on division. We will teach the relationship of division to multiplication. Students will also make and determine equivalent equations using multiplication and division.
