When we return from Thanksgiving break, the children will research a specific frog, then learn how to write an essay on that frog. 

The children will practice planning an introductory paragraph, writing a clear focus statement that explains the main idea of their essays. Each student will describe their frog, its habitat, its predators, and its prey. 

When we return from Thanksgiving break, students will estimate with addition. We will build on three digit addition and learn four digit addition with and without regrouping using multiple strategies. 

American Indian Cultures of North America

We will explore and locate~ American Indian cultures and their development in North America

Regions/Cultures of study include:

Arctic, Northwest, Plains, Northeast &, Southeast

Assessment Information:

Students will participate in a project-based assessment when we return. Students will show what they know using journal notes and classroom resources to create their project. Classroom teachers will share rubrics with students and check in along the way.
