Next week the children will be reading informational texts on different kinds of frogs. The students will be identifying and explaining the main idea and supporting details. The children will also be practicing writing focus statements for their informational paragraphs. 

The unit 3 assessment is Monday. The study guide was given this week for students to prepare. Unit 4 will begin Tuesday. Students will learn about place value and how to represent, read, and write numbers up to 10,000.  

American Indian Cultures of North America

We will explore and locate~ American Indian cultures and their development in North America

Regions/Cultures of study include:

Arctic, Northwest, Plains, Northeast &, Southeast

We look forward to celebrating their continued contributions- their art, literature and architectural design.

Assessment Information:

Students will participate in a project-based assessment for this unit.
