The Summer Meals program will expand to add locations and free grab-and-go breakfasts and lunches for children 18 years old and younger. Meals are also available for adults with disabilities.
Parents can do curb-side pick up of nutritious meals for their children at 18 park locations around the county to take home or the children can pick up their own meals.
Park locations were selected based on school clusters with 50 percent free-and-reduced-lunch student populations.
GCPS will ramp up its Seamless Summer feeding program for children June 8-26, and will provide school locations once they are finalized.

Under a state law passed by the Georgia State Legislature in 2007, parents of students who receive special education services may request to transfer their child to another public or private school in Georgia provided that their child has an IEP and has been enrolled for a full academic year in a Georgia public school.
Letters explaining this program, along with transfer request forms, are now posted on the GCPS website.
