As part of its support to students and families during Week 2, GCPS will continue to provide lunch for pick-up at 68 school sites, and school buses will continue delivering lunch at bus stops.
These meals are available to anyone 18 years of age or younger, no matter which school you attend. A list of school sites and the clusters and schools where delivery is provided can be found on the district website.
Please note that these meals will not be provided during Spring Break (3/30-4/3).
Teachers and staff will be working from home during this time. The DMS building is closed during this time.
Students should continue to log in to their course eClass pages and complete their assigned work during this time. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child's homeroom and course teachers.
Additional information regarding GCPS' continued pick-up lunch service as well as school based DLD resources can be found in our homepage's Top 3 of the week.
GCPS' scheduled Spring Break will be held March 30th - April 3rd as originally planned. Please stay tuned for additional updates regarding school schedules for after Spring Break so you can plan accordingly.
We appreciate your continued support, patience, and assistance during this time.
Teachers will post assignments on their eCLASS C&I course pages each day by 10:00 a.m.
Work needs to be completed each day. The best way families can support their student(s) is to check their work throughout the day to make sure it is being completed and turned in correctly.
Log in to the student portal and into each of their eCLASS C&I course pages to access assignments, resources, and other materials.
Student work will be expected to be turned in to the teacher (either digitally or in person) as explained by the teacher.
Teachers will share additional information with students about Digital Learning Days, including how they will support student learning during the day. Some teachers may set up a discussion board while others may use online conference tools or be available via phone.
Parents and students who need a refresher course on how to access eCLASS C&I course pages can go to the following web page for helpful resources and information:

Our counseling team has designed a virtual counseling website to keep our students, our families, our friends, and our community in mind during this time of distance learning.
Fridays are now being considered “Catch up” Days.
In other words, there will be no new material or assignments posted. Instead, students should spend their time completing work that has not been done.
For students who have completed all assignments this week, they can use this as a day of extension by using a digital resource, reading, summarizing their learning for their parents, etc.
Those students in need of remediation or who missed days should attend their teachers’ “live” sessions on Fridays as regularly scheduled.
By having "Fry Days" as a “Catch Up” day, this will give our students, teachers, and YOU, our families, a chance to breathe.
Please continue to check the DMS Website for updated information throughout the GCPS Digital Learning Days for school specific information:
Due to Digital Learning Days, we will be cancelling Career Day scheduled for March 25th.
