Stinger Strong is a weightlifting competition against yourself. Each semester you will have a chance to max out on three lifts (squat, bench, and deadlift) and get into a club. Your club is determined by the total weight you lifted between the 3 main lifts and dividing that total by your body weight. The possible clubs you can make it into are 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, & 7.0. Register Here

Straps, sleeves, and belts are permitted
3 attempts are allowed for each exercise
Must have staff supervise and judge lift to count
3 reps are allowed for each exercise
Must pause between each rep
Lift off allowed
Bar must be lowered within a fists length (4 inches) away from chest
Do not bounce bar off chest
Try to lockout arms between reps and racking weight
Squat below 100 degrees
Stand completely up before next rep or racking weight
Must use the straight bar
Stand completely straight
Lockout legs and hips
Pause at the top of locking out
Control weight down
Don't drop weight
Do not bounce bar off ground between reps
