i-Ready is a curriculum resource that students can use both in school and at home. Students take an assessment beginning, middle, and end of the year to see where they are academically performing in both math and reading. Once the assessment is complete, independent lessons will be given to your student based on their individual placement. Teachers are also able to assign lessons individually to review skills. This means that they may be doing 1st grade lessons if that is where they tested in that specific category. This is an amazing resource to use to close gaps as well as challenge your children. Since the lessons are geared towards how they performed, please do not have older siblings help or do the lessons for them. This is a data piece for the Kinder Team to know where we can best support your students.
