Fulham Cross Sixth Form Applications Now Open
A strong start to secondary school is key to student success at Fulham Cross Girls’ School. That’s why our expert Year 7 team supports students from the moment they join our community. Our excellent pastoral care sets us apart.
Students are guided by Ms Chaer, Mx Amber, form tutors, and class teachers. Mx Amber, a non-teaching staff member, plays a key role—visiting primary schools, running Induction Day, and leading Summer School activities to help students settle in.
We also offer:
Drop-in sessions before, during, and after school
One-to-one or small group support as needed
Year 7 Homework Club (before and after school)
Daily Lunchtime Clubs with games, crafts, and social time
A Primary School Tea Party, where students invite former teachers back
Our Big Siblings—trained Year 8 leaders—also help guide Year 7 students through the transition.
You can reach the Year 7 team anytime at fcgs-transition@fulhamcross.net with any questions.
We also offer the opportunity for parents and carers to work with their children on the transition to secondary school using the activity booklets below.
At Fulham Cross Girls’ School we believe that in order for our students to be happy, academically successful and well rounded young people we require a strong relationship between the school, our students and their parents and carers.
The Parent/Carer Teacher Association is a dedicated group of parents and carers who have chosen to take an active part in school life. The aim of the Parent Carer Council is to ensure a rich and fulfilling school experience by fundraising and building relationships between the school and parent community. Fundraising events have included the organisation of a winter raffle and through coordinating food stalls at the International Dance Show in the Spring term.
In addition, parents and carers are welcomed to Coffee Mornings at the school on a termly basis to meet with other Fulham Cross Girls’ School parents and your daughter/ward’s Progress tutor. This offers the opportunity to discuss life at Fulham Cross from a parent’s/ward’s perspective and give feedback to the school.
