UNIT CIRCLE

In order to understand the basic trigonometry functions, use a circle of radius 1 whose center is at the origin (0, 0). The equation of this circle is x2 + y2 = 1. This is known as the unit circle. We can use the unit circle to solve for the trigonometric functions of common angles.
