Fleet Feet's internship experience focuses on professional development (think impactful work), mentorship, networking, skill development, and on-the-job training across departments.
Fleet Feet is a people-first organization and our interns are no exception. Fleet Feet Interns will add and create value with every action and will be contributing members of our team and brand.
Our immersive 10-week rotational summer internship experience places interns in 2 different departments, areas or roles, that the intern chooses, over the duration of the internship.
Why have a rotational program?
Cross-training opportunities across departments or the store
A true pulse of department goals and how departments collaborate to achieve goals
Interns to assess their skills and interests by getting different types of experiences
Fleet Feet to evaluate interns as potential future employees and see where they thrive
Why Summer?
Our thought was to start small, but eventually, we hope to expand our internship opportunities throughout the year
Summer is when we typically see the largest candidate pool as a majority of students are looking for an internship/employment
Could allow for a smooth transition to hiring a graduating student full time
Who qualifies?
Rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors
Major/Concentration in a relevant field to the rotation the intern is interested in
Proactive, dedicated, and driven individuals
Ability and commitment to work 40 hours a week for 10 weeks
