SCHEDULING FOR 2026-27: Counselors will be visiting students twice in the next few weeks to present course options for next school year, and then follow up to collect course selection forms with your child's final choices for next school year on the following dates:
Class of 2030: Friday, Jan. 30th and Friday, Feb. 6th
Class of 2029: Monday, Feb. 2nd and Monday, Feb. 9th
Class of 2028: Tuesday, Jan. 27th and Tuesday, Feb. 3rd
Class of 2027: Wednesday, Jan. 28th and Thursday, Feb. 5th
REMINDERS:
-- A parent/guardian signature is REQUIRED on the Course Selection Form that counselors will be collecting during the second classroom visit.
-- Students are not able to drop AP/Honors courses after May 1, 2026. This also means that during the window of time where students may request schedule changes in August, AP/Honors classes will not be dropped.
-- Students interested in taking an online course must have made this decision by May 1st, 2026. With the exception of conflicts in the schedule that require changes, we will not be adding students to online classes after May 1st.
Final schedules will be available for viewing in PowerSchool on August 1st. Students will be able to see their full schedule for the entire 26-27 school year. All students will also be emailed a Google form on Aug. 1st to fill out if they would like to request a schedule change. This form will be open until August 10th. With the exception of scheduling conflicts or mistakes that require a change, counselors will not be able to take any course change requests after the Google form closes on August 10th. Students who fill out the Google form for changes will receive an emailed response from their counselor by the final Friday of summer break, ahead of the first day of the new semester. With the exception of true errors that require changes, counselors will not change schedules on or after the first day of the new semester (this includes Sem. 2).
Please also be aware that we are unable to accommodate specific teacher requests.
Also, lunch assignments are determined by the 4th hour class. Because of this, we are unable to accommodate requests for changes to the lunch schedule, as this would require additional changes to student schedules.
Full-year classes cannot be dropped mid-year without a recommendation from the teacher of the course.
