College Visits

Juniors and Seniors are encouraged to visit college campuses as part of the process to determine where to apply when the time comes. Up to two absences per year (11th & 12th grades) due to college visits are excused. Students with arranged college visits must pick up a form in the Counseling Office prior to their college visit, and return the signed form to the office upon return. 

We encourage students in all grades to visit college campuses when time allows! If your family happens to be traveling during breaks or on weekends, this could be a great opportunity to visit college campuses along the way. Click HERE for some tips on making the most of a college visit.

Many colleges will send representatives to Eastern High School to meet with small groups of students who have a potential interest in applying. Juniors and Seniors are welcome to sign up to meet with these representatives (click HERE for sign up instructions). College reps are at FHE during the school day; students who choose to attend are responsible for completing any work missed during the class they leave during the visitation. 

Click HERE to see the current calendar of visiting reps. For the Fall 2025, the majority of visits will be in person. If any visits are virtual, links are found on the calendar for each scheduled virtual rep visit. In-person visits will be in the HS office, unless otherwise specified.
