Introduciton to Rayograph / Photograms

READ THIS PARAGRAPH - A photogram is a photographic image made without a camera. It involves placing things on the surface of a light sensitive material and then exposing them to light. Traditionally this process has been done using photographic paper. During this lesson, you will learn how to fake creating a photogram using your mobile phone and editing.

See if you have anything at home that would work for this project. I do have some things but I don't want everyone's picture to look the same........ Bonus Points to anyone who brings in there own items. :)

Create a Moodboard in Google Drawing

1. Do a Google image search for Photograms and have a look at some of the fantastic examples.
2. Open Google Drive - Open you photography folder
3. Click on the plus sign to the left of the screen - scroll down to more - over to Google Drawing
4. Create a Moodboard on Google Drawing with at least 10 Photograms. Be sure to add a title. Pay attention to the objects that were used. Make a list of at least 6 objects that you could bring in from home
5. My Example of the Moodborad is located below.
To Turn in your Moodboard
1. Go to file
2. Download
3. JPEG
4. In your Google Sites Portfolio
  1. Click on the pages tab - add a new page. Title the new page Photograms - Drag that page under
  2. Insert Text box - Title Photograms
  3. Insert image - Upload - Downloads - Click on your moodboard - Insert
  4. Drag the image below the text box so that it resizes itself.
  5. Publish
  6. Publish
  7. Copy Published link
  8. Turn in through Schoology

HOMEWORK:
1. Bring in at least 6 objects for the Photogram assignment DUE TOMMORROW
