What do we do in this class?
Will I have to take pictures outside of class or in class?
You will do both.... Many of the projects that are assigned, will be done in class. However, there are a some photoshoots that you MUST take outside of class / off of school property.
This will allow you to feel more comfortable, which then leads to more authentic and natural images!
Different backgrounds
Different lighting
Different subjects
All of these reasons lead to much better photographs!
About Your Teacher:
WHY WE USE CELL PHONES IN DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY 1:
Because cell phones offer accessibility, familiarity, and a wide range of features that can be used to learn fundamental photography concepts. In level 1 photography our primary focus is on Composition and Editing
Using smartphones makes photography education more inclusive, allows for immediate practical application, and leverages students' existing comfort with their devices.
Real-World Skills: Students can immediately apply what they learn to their daily lives, as they are already accustomed to using their phones for photography.
In Level 2 photography, if you choose to take it, Students begin to learn how to use a professional camera (this needs to be it's own course as it is very technical.
