Double Exposure photography is nothing but blending two images together in a fun way to create an awesome result. Double exposure photography, if done well, looks magical and it can help you tell stories even with a single photo.
A combination of two images into one, where one image is overlaid onto another at less than full opacity.
A technique that layers two different exposures on a single image, combining two photographs into one.
Step 1: Create a Double Exposure Moodboard
MUST HAVES:
A Title - Double Exposure Photography
A background that does not distract from your images
At least 8 Double Exposure images
All 8 of the images you chose must have a text box under them - Explain what images you think were used to make the complete composite.
Go on an inspiration Scavenger Hunt..... Choice 1: Take a portrait of a person or animal. (your subject) Choice 2: Search for an image of a person or animal that you would like to use. (your subject)
Quality: Make sure you are using high quality / high resolution image (otherwise, the images will be blurry and pixelated.)
Use Unsplash.com to download your images or do a google image search - click on tools - size large - should be over 1000 x at least 900
Search for your main image to merge with your subject. It could be nature, city, textures, shrubs, trees, building, etc..
Search for supporting images to add to your Double Exposure
Save your images to your computer graphics (P) drive.
