TASK No. 1 - Mirror Photography / Composition - Simplicity
When finished with all 3 tasks......
You should have a total of 20 images..
6 - Simplicity Objects
8 - Shoe Compositions - Viewpoints
6 - Toy Compositions
Composition Rule / Strategy - SIMPLICITY
This is a brilliantly effective style! I absolutely love the results. It’s great for Instagram, youtube thumbnails, and fancy product shots! You will need:-
Camera
A mirror
A black backdrop (or white would work too)
An off-camera light
Your Subject / Object(s)
Again, portrait mode will work best for this photoshoot and you’ll want the black backdrop as far away as you can manage. Set your objects onto the mirror, and side light the subject so that not much light hits the black backdrop. You can side-light with a strong, diffused light
Portrait shots look especially effective with this technique, but experiment. The reflection is eye catching and will set your work apart. Great for products, or special items, or anything you can think of really!
You will have 1 day to take at least 6 images of 6 different subjects. 6 TOTAL
