With over 15 years of experience in teaching and research, I am dedicated to driving scientific progress for social benefit. I recently concluded a pos-doc in microfluidics granted by Marie-Curie fellowship at startup Eden-Tech (Paris, France). Currently, I am a Professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, productivity scholarship from CNPq and a Scientist of Our State at FAPERJ, where I apply my expertise in Cell Biology and Biotechnology to develop innovative projects, such as 3D cell culture, tissue engineering, bioprinting and microfluidics.
My journey includes founding the startup Gcell 3D, reflecting my commitment to the practical application of science. I lead research teams and develop projects aimed at understanding the Biology of Mesenchymal Cells, the Adipose Tissue Microenvironment, and Obesity, as well as Cartilage and Bone Engineering. I am driven by collaboration with motivated teams to generate exceptional ideas that create a meaningful impact on society.
