First: Upload Your Documents Into Skyslope
When you have an executed listing, purchase contract, BPO, referral, lease, or rental agreement, you will create a transaction file in SkySlope. Upload your documents RIGHT AWAY!! Skyslope serves as your "file cabinet" that will allow your Contract Compliance Specialist (CCS), Transaction Settlement Specialist (TSS), and the Broker Team to review the file for accuracy, compliance, and approval. You will be working closely with the CCS and TSS as your file progresses. It's important for you to know the status of the transaction and that SkySlope is reflected accurately so the CDA can be issued in a timely manner to get you paid quickly.
Transaction files should include all documents related to the transaction and any and all correspondence, notes, email communications, text messages, etc. Agents are encouraged to make copies of their files. The Company reserves the right to maintain digital files in storage for the statutory period as required by the State licensing departments.
For withdrawn or canceled transaction files: Make sure to get the cancellation form signed by the Designated Managing Broker (DMB), Michelle Larson-Hoppe. Email the form ready to be e-signed to mn.sign@exprealty.net, and then, once signed, upload it SkySlope so that the file can be withdrawn and canceled.
**WE REVIEW FILES BASED ON THE CLOSING DATE THAT YOU ENTER IN SKYSLOPE.
BE SURE TO UPDATE THE CLOSING DATE IF IT CHANGES.**

Second: Commission Disbursement Authorizations (CDA)
Where Does The Commission Check Go?
The CDA is sent out to the title company you listed in Skyslope and to you approximately 10 days prior to closing instructing title where to send the commission check after closing. You only need to get a PDF copy of the check and ALTA from the closer and upload them into Skyslope. They can send the check directly to eXp Realty per the CDA. Title is instructed as per below:
Please mail commission checks payable to eXp Realty North, LLC only and all supporting documentation to:
MAILING ADDRESS
eXp Realty North, LLC
PO Box 856825
Minneapolis, MN 55485-6825
OVERNIGHT ADDRESS
Lockbox Services 856825
eXp Realty North, LLC
1801 Parkview Drive 1st Flr
Shoreview, MN 55126
What even is a CDA/DA?
A Commission Disbursement Authorization (CDA) is the same thing as a Disbursement Authorization (DA). It gives instructions on how the commission should be dispersed and is essentially a payment request to the closing company.
When and/or how do I get a CDA?
Once your Skyslope file is complete and broker approved, a CDA will be sent to the title company and yourself from eXp Realty a week or so before closing.
What do I do when I get one in my email?
Review it for accuracy and reach out to mn.transactions@exprealty.net if you see any errors. Otherwise, save in your files!
