MN EXP AGENT ADVISORY COUNCIL CHARTER
VISION
The Agent Advisory Council serves as a conduit of communication in support of the agent voice and overarching company initiatives within the context of our unique culture and community.
MISSION
Engage in a direct line of communication, insight, and feedback through a diverse group of agents to support the continued evolution of the MN eXp Realty experience, culture, and core values.
DESCRIPTION
The MN Agent Advisory Council (MN AAC) is created to ensure that the “Voice of the Agent” is represented as eXp Realty continues to evolve as the most agent-centric real estate brokerage company in the world. The MN AAC will have the opportunity to provide input on the future direction of MN eXp through the representation of the voice of the agents.
The MN AAC is and shall be a body of influence within MN eXp and a source of knowledge, expertise, and support to leadership in the performance of their duties. Service on the MN AAC is a serious undertaking and represents an opportunity to give back to MN eXp in the highest form.
The MN AAC is not a decision-making body nor does it have any power to compel leadership to take action or refrain from action. Not all matters involving MN eXp are relevant for MN AAC discussion and leadership reserves the right to limit discussion on any matter at their discretion. Neither the MN AAC nor its individual members shall be authorized to bind or speak on behalf eXp Realty.
MEMBERSHIP AND COMPOSITION
1. The MN AAC shall consist of twelve to fourteen (12 to 14) members selected by a vetting committee through an application process. This selection committee is comprised of
a. two (2) members of the AAC;
b. two (2) MN eXp leadership members; and
c. the AAC Liaison.
2. Once selected, a member’s tenure is 18-24 months
3. Member composition will include a diverse representation of agents, including but not limited to, geography, gender/ethnicity, experience level, previous brokerage affiliation,
production level, attraction/downline, etc.
EXPECTATION OF MEMBERS
At the discretion of leadership or a majority vote of the MN AAC, a member may be removed. Such removal will be determined on a case by case basis and will only be exercised in situations where
1. an MN AAC member has left eXp;
2. has missed three (3) meetings; or
3. has been acting in a manner inconsistent with this agreement or eXp Core Values.
DUTIES
MN AAC members will, among other things:
a. provide open and honest input on all matters brought before the MN AAC;
b. seek to understand and communicate the general perspective of MN eXp agents on
matters brought before the MN AAC;
c. seek to understand and communicate the general perspective of the company
so they can effectively communicate it to MN eXp agents.;
d. act in the best interests of MN eXp and agents;
e. act as a representative voice of agents, as such, be visible
throughout the organization and accessible.
f. act in a manner that is consistent with MN eXp’s core values and culture; engage in
strategic dialogue and discussion that will help shape MN eXp in the future and assist
the organization in identifying, understanding, and responding to MN eXp leadership
requests;
h. attend all MN AAC meetings;
i. attend weekly cloud Leadership meetings when possible;
j. Attendance at the annual Shareholder and eXp Convention events is strongly
encouraged;
k. comply with the eXp Insider Trading Policy;
l. comply with eXp Non-Disclosure Agreement;
m. remain in good standing as an agent with eXp;
n. acceptance of membership on the MN AAC constitutes an agreement to operate
according to this charter.
MN AAC MEETINGS
As a member of the MN AAC:
a. The MN AAC will meet no less than monthly in eXp World.
b. Agenda and minutes of each meeting will be maintained and recorded in the MN AAC Workplace group.
c. Members of MN AAC must participant in the eXp World and Workplace.
ROLE OF MN AAC LIAISON
1. shall be a current member of MN eXp and appointed by MN State Broker Team;
2. facilitate MN AAC meeting attendance by leadership;
3. manage WP administrative privileges;
4. task group assignments, special requests, and projects;
5. communicate MN AAC feedback with appropriate leadership;
6. As stated above, be a member of the MN AAC vetting committee.
AMENDMENT OF CHARTER
1. The Charter may be amended at any time by the senior leadership of eXp Realty with or without MN AAC recommendation.
