Indiana Disability Rights (IPAS)
An independent state agency, formerly known as Indiana Protection and Advocacy Services (IPAS). Established in 1977 to fulfill federal requirements for a state agency staffed to respond to requests to protect the rights of persons with disabilities. Provides information, referral, and investigations and technical assistance related to problems that individuals with disabilities face when services or rights are being denied.
