Internal Monitoring: The Who

The internal monitoring team should include a variety of stakeholders including but not limited to:

  • Special Education Administrators

  • Intervention Specialists

  • General Education Teachers

  • School Psychologist

  • Speech Language Pathologist

  • Occupational Therapist

  • Physical Therapist

  • Transition Coordinator

Team membership should be fluid. There should be established "term limits" to rotate people on and off the team to continue to build internal district capacity. The work of this team should not be "owned" by the special education department. This should be the work of the whole district.
