LRE - Preschool

The district does not have to physically house the full LRE continuum for preschool, but does need to provide the element if the IEP team, including parents, conclude that a specific point on the continuum is the LRE for this child. The first consideration, always is general education, the location the child would attend if they did not have a disability. If the child is already attending a program, the team is required to consider if they can support the child in the current setting with the appropriate supports and services.
