Adding PD hours to your Eduphoria Profile

  • Login at Eduphoria!

  • Select the Strive app then My Professional Learning

  • Choose Portfolio, then My Portfolio

  • Choose "Add New Portfolio Entry" at the bottom left of the screen

  • You have options for outside workshops/conferences and college courses. You do not need to add PD provided by JISD. Those courses are already in your My Portfolio.

  • Add the information from your event.

  • If your PD event pertains to a specific T-TESS, T-PESS, or Paraprofessional goal you can select those on the Frameworks ad Dimensions section. (optional)

  • If you Goals set in Strive, you can choose to note which Goals this PD event pertains. (optional)

  • Upload Attachments allows you to add any certificates you may have gained from the PD event. (optional)

  • Your New Portfolio Entry will be submitted for approval. If additional information is needed, you will be contacted.

Credit Types

Each event has the opportunity to gain each type of credit.

Comp/Exchange Time: This is given when the PD is attending outside of the contract schedule. This includes summer days, weekends, or any day that you are not currently contracted to work. It is done "in exchange" for another paid work day.

G/T Credit: This is determined by the presenter of the course you attended.

Texas SBEC CPE: This is any professional learning event that you participated in. These hours are calculated for certificate renewal.

Aware Recipe Cards

Aware Data Views provides a visual explanation of how to pull state assessment data from Aware. It can be used to analyze any assessment you give in eduphoria!
