Evidence of Learning
3-2-1 Summary
We will explore King Tutankhaun's Tomb to practice the 3-2-1 Summary.
Consider the next video for the modified activity.
Connect 4 Thinking
We are going to use the term fraction for this activity.
When using Connect 4 Thinking, you can edit the 4 categories to best work with you Word/Concept.
We are going to combine these two activities: Graphic Organizers and Exit Tickets
Use this link to access the Jamboard and participate.
High-Five Summary
We will use a passage from the 7th Grade 2021 STAAR for this activity.
We also have The Recess Queen by Alexis O'Neill read with Storytime by Fallon. Try this modified High-Five along with this story.
You may choose which summary you feel will work best for you.
Independence Day
We are going to take a little math test on percents. Knowing the content, let's use the Independence Day Matrix for Math.
Mind Bender
To practice these two activities, we will review this video about Ancient Romans (PBS version) or this cool video about How Legos are made
As we watch this video, fill out the Mind Bender on misconceptions you may have had about Ancient Romans or work together to fill one out about Legos.
Now we will do a One Minute free write on anything you may know about the Ancient Romans (or Legos). After a quick Snowball fight, select another paper and work with your table group to find the three best ideas from your papers.

Show and Tell and Teach
Using this template LINK, students will take turns explaining their assigned question. The template is a source for modeling how students can collaborate on tasks together..
We are going to split up to make sure we have information about each of the dwarf planets to share.
Ceres
Pluto
Haumea
Makemake
Eris
Tabletop Tweet
Now that we have some knowledge about the dwarf planets, let's use the Tabletop Tweet summarize and share.
Thought Bubbles
We are going to use this Wonderopolis Wonder of the Day about Marie Curie for the Thought Bubbles activity. As you explore the post, add information to the thought bubbles.
Or Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
Using the same resource, we will create a Total Recall. You can use a plain sheet of paper or this template for Marie Curie or this one created for Alexander.
Total Recall
What's On Your Plate?
You have practiced multiple activities for "evidence of learning".
Using a paper plate, brainstorm ideas that you can use in your classroom. Draw a star beside 2-3 ideas you are excited to start. Circle 2-3 ideas that you would like help to incorporate.
Kinder Version: Ask students to show what they have learned from a field trip, project, and or book. Star your favorite and circle one you would like to learn more about.
Wishful Thinking
This uses lead4wards's Student Learning Reports
We will use the 4th Grade Math Fraction page as an example.
Record a + (I know it), ✓ (I know parts of if), or - (I don't know it) in the Check Up columns.
Write "I WISH" in the notes column of 1-3 concepts you wish to improve.
Add a question to the Jamboard for each "I WISH" on your page.
