This Weebly seems very clunky, but has some appeal because it looks easy to create. The problem with this Weebly at first glance is that it has a lot of ads, (or what look like ads) on this website. I think it is a tough one to use, but it does look nice and I don't hate the layout. I think the tool is being used here more as a class page than a Portfolio, but it does show off what Mr. Huggins has done with his class in the past year, so that has to count for some portfolio aspects. It shows off what his kids are working on and it shows off the projects that they have completed. It also shows screen casts and has a lot of different types of media embedded in the site. I haven't made a weebly, but I'm willing to look at it as an option for my portfolio.

I REALLY like how Portfolium is laid out. The boxes for different items really work, and it is not harsh to the eyes. The layout makes sense to show off someone's work in an intelligent order. It has a portfolio off of the home site where you can find a lot of lesson plans, unit plans, pictures, videos, pdfs, PowerPoints, etc.... and they are all laid out in a manner that makes me want to click on them to see what the teacher has to say. The website also doesn't make you download the file, it opens it up right in the website, which is appealing. It also makes it easy to share with others if you'd like to just share one piece of your website with another person or teacher. This would be really useful for our special education students that may want to share something with their case manager!

This weebly makes me want to use it in the future. The other one that I posted about has a little left to be desired. This one shows off how clean the website can be, and how it does not need to be oversharing. This portfolio shows all of his learning that he did in his teaching classes for different semesters in college. It is well done, and I think I will look into weebly after seeing this one instead of the first one I talked about.
This artist used www.wix.com to create their website. Cloudscrape wants to advertise himself as a gallery owner and as an artist trying to make a living. Not sure if he has to pay to use this site, but it is an awesome site. When you click on different pieces of the website you are able to get into his art and understand why he chose this website to portray his stuff. It is highly organized and snazzy to an outside viewer. They also use lots of links within links which makes it exciting to see what the next link will bring you to. It also has lots of fonts used so if you want to be creative it will allow you to do so. I'm excited to check out what wix.com can do for my portfolio!
