I woke up at 4 am very anxious because it's the first time I'm going to do Erasmus, I went at 4:40 am and I had to go get the teacher because I wasn't going to wake up his wife at 4 am to take him to the airport which was at 10 minute from the teacher's house, when we arrived at the airport, my beautiful friend Leandro was already waiting for everyone, after everyone arrived, we put our bags to go in the hold of the plane, then we went through security and waited for the plane to depart from Faro to London .we left Faro at 6am and arrived in London at 10am.✈️

In London we had to do the check, which was totally different from Faro because we need to put a tape on the suitcase to be identified, then we put the suitcase on the conveyor belt to go to the plane. Then we went to the waiting room for 1 hour and a half to to go to the plane, we left at 1 pm and arriving in Vilnius at 3 pm, we took our bags and ordered two taxis to go to the hotel. we arrived at the hotel at 6 pm and rested for a while

In the afternoon, we rested a little and went for a walk around Vilnius looking for a place to eat when we found a hamburger 🍔 a place where we could eat with the dog by our side 😨, the hamburger was excellent and we even had to eat it with gloves on, after that we went walk around the city for a bit and we finish the day info for the hotel to sleep and go to kaunas tomorrow 🥱

We had a good breakfast at the hotel with a variety of food such as toast, milk, yogurt, juices, eggs, cakes, sausages, cereals, etc 😋. After a good breakfast we walked around Vilnius as our bus only arrived at 5 pm and saw a very beautiful market with several stalls selling food, sweets, toys, etc. One of the most beautiful churches 🤩 in Vilnius according to professor paulo dos ribeiros 👽 then we went to eat at bernelių užeiga I ate a hamburger with fries

When we arrived at the bus station we went to buy bus tickets, while we waited for the bus we took the opportunity to go to Silas 🍽️ which was literally above the bus station to buy food for breakfast because in the apartment in Kaunas there is no breakfast area then when it was 5:20pm we went to the bus and we took a 1 hour trip to Kaunas when we arrived in Kaunas it was 6:30pm we took advantage and went to eat at a pizzeria near the hotel, we shared 1 pizza 🍕for every🙇🙇 2 people, at the end of the day we went to the old part of the city 🏚️to see the church at night with all the lights, as you can see in the image to the side and on the cover of my page

It is a public school that offers several programming courses such as php, java, c++, etc. the project we are going to help with is about creating an AI to perform a specific functio

The conditions at this school are 100x better 😍 than those at the Loulé secondary school in terms of IT, with quality computers, programmers have access to two screens, one horizontal and one vertical, quality internet, a variety of gadgets, in hardware, in graphic design and video editing

The project consists of creating a website that will send a prompt (the text that the user enters on the website) to the API which we will also create from 0 then the API will build a random text from the  array  and will send the response back to the website and showing the user 👀.

The example on the left explains better what the project would be like, first it will get the prompt from the website, it will send it to the API then it will send the response to the website ez 💪

Today we said goodbye to the teachers with enormous sadness within us. Then we went with the school to two museums located in Kaunas, the first was:

The M. K. Ciurlionis National Museum of Art Founded in 1921, the M. K. Čiurlionis National Museum of Art is one of the oldest and largest art museums in Lithuania. It is the only one with the legacy of the most famous Lithuanian artist, composer and public figure M. K. Čiurlionis (1875-1911). This Lithuanian artist's paintings and graphics have been exhibited in the modern, renovated premises since 2003. In the museum's Music Hall, you can listen to his music.

The second was the “devil museum” the theme was, as the name says, you would make figures of devils and things related to the same, there were also many angels on the top floor as well as some modern paintings.

As we left early after seeing the museums, me and my two friends, Tomas Pifaro and Leandro, took the opportunity to go and play a little at the lan house that was LITERALLY in front of our house. 😨

I loved it, it had a variety of games and I even got a win on ranked in Valorant  ❤️

After the lan house we went to eat at xxxxxx today it was soup with potatoes and the main dish was a strange potato with a cream sauce in my opinion I didn't really like the food but I ate a little

Today we had to change rooms because the computers weren't working properly because they disabled them due to an attempt to hack the school's servers, so we had to configure everything again to start doing the project properly

At the end of the class we were invited by Tita (our teacher) and a friend of his to watch a D&D game that lasted approximately 2 hours, completing with a trip to the Simonas Daukantas Bridge and the Akropolis shopping mall, but we ended up going in but the visit was very quick because before 7 pm we had to go to eat at bernelių užeiga, at the end of the day we went to dinner at bernelių užeiga today it was soup with potatoes and something else and the main dish was a typical Lithuanian dish that I don't know what it was like and forgot to take a photo.

Today we just configured the PCs and created a new repository on github to put API and the website to interact with it. As I had already created the repository, I started testing things in HTML like a test card and how I want the site layout

Today we can leave school early leaving at 1pm so we decided to go home and have lunch together. Lunch consisted of rice made by me, French fries made by Arturo, roast meat made by Leandro and Tomas and some apples made by Lara, the Santiago and Bruno and it was delicious. 😋

Then we had to work on the website (blog) and at the end of the day we went to dinner at bernelių užeiga, today it was soup with potatoes again and the main dish was a strange type of potato with a sweet sauce and a cream sauce

Almost everyone woke up around eleven so we only had a cerial lunch, at that time there was a crowd of motorcyclists on the road in front of our apartment. I only managed to record at the end but there were approximately 70 motorcyclists in Christmas costumes and Christmas hats. 🎄

In the afternoon we were working on the website and tidying up the dishes, but in the evening, as we hadn't left the house, we took advantage and went to the shopping center by bus. 🚎

And we went to eat Burger King , in my opinion I don't recommend it because the burgers were smaller than in Portugal 😔

When we got home we opened the new toaster, you must be asking "Why did they buy a toaster?🤔", we bought it because there wasn't one in the apartment and there are people who like to eat toast for breakfast

Today we had to rest, the teacher said that on Monday we would start doing the project, I hope you can do it because it's the first time, we did it by messing with APIs, at lunch we made two types of pasta so if anyone doesn't like one pasta, they can eat the other, one made with butter made by arturo and another dough made with stewed chicken breast made by me, part with roasted meat made by Tomas and Leandro and with apple cut into pieces🍳

At dinner no one wanted to wash the dishes or make food, so we decided to order SUSHI from a restaurant that was open on the bolt app. In my opinion, the sushi was good, it's a shame they didn't have the ones I liked, the meat ones are good. 

Today we just tidied up the PCs, we started to see how to create an API, for example I'm using visual code because I compared it with the visual studio ide on YouTube and it's easier to create the API, just enter the command "dotnet new webapi" he will create the base of the API and that was all for a short while but I had work to compare and how to create the API on YouTube

We returned home at 3pm, we had to improve the website and work on personal projects. At the end of the day, we went to Bernelių Užeiga to eat soup with potatoes and a dish that I don't know how to explain much and I forgot to take a photo, so it's really difficult to talk about the dish today. It was a simple day😔

Today we went to see one of the biggest data centers called baltneta founded in 1996.

It consists of two data centers that are located in a single location in Vilnius, they are separate spaces, completely autonomous. Both data centers have Tier 3 Facility and Design and PCI DSS category certificates, an excellent level of technological and physical data protection.

It has active equipment and distribution routes – refrigeration units and piping, communication inputs to the building, electrical installation and autonomous diesel generators – are duplicated. This means that there is no need to interrupt data center activity for preventive work and service availability reaches 99.982% 24 hours a day. 

The security team is on duty 24 hours a day. The territory is surrounded and monitored by more than 50 video cameras, only cars and authorized people can enter the space. Access control is authorized with card and PIN code inside and outside the building.

We cannot take photos inside the company out of respect for the privacy of our customers.

I made a base of how I want the site with some cards that will show which AI to choose. After choosing the AI, this will lead to a chat where we can ask the AI.

The html and css part, I saw how it was done on YouTube, I followed and modified some things so it wouldn't be the same and because I like to always have my own touch.

I did the models part (the models show how the data should be prepared and presented in the API) and the GET, POST, PUT, DELETE methods part.

In the models:  I created an int called id to identify the user and created a string to store the prompt

In the methods the method:

GET -> is used to view the models, there are two GET methods, one to show all models, the other GET method will show the specific model that the programmer chose

POST -> is used to create a new space in the API database, for example in mine I can create a user with id = 1 with the "hello" prompt, then with the GET method I can search for the id 1 and swagger will show the id 1 and the prompt "hello"

PUT -> is used to update a space already created in the API database using the previous example I can modify the prompt and change the "hello" to "good morning" so when I call id 1 the prompt will show me "good morning" instead of  "hello"

DELETE -> is used to delete a space in the already created base data, for example if I no longer want id 1 I can ask swagger to delete id 1 and when I call it it will give the error that it does not exist

When we got home I went to change places because men don't rest 💪 I did the rest of the text that was left from the other day, then we fought with pillows and I hurt myself and here's the proof 😭

I improved my website by adding buttons to change pages and then adding the chat part as well, I added a button to the part of my name in "made by Raul" which will show a page just about me and the project, I made a animations that when you put the mouse over the card it kind of enlarges to give a feeling of depth and I did the same on the "try out" button 

When we got home the ladies who come every Thursday to clean our rooms were still cleaning the rooms so we took the opportunity to go to the "river Mall", I thought the shopping center was big but in the end it was smaller than the "mar shoping" in Loulé, 40 % of the shopping center was Maximas, 40% was Ikea, 20% were small stores and restaurants. After leaving the shopping center we went to Lidl to see what the different products were from Portugal and then we went home to rest and go to the beautiful and wonderful bernelių užeiga 🤤

There we ate beetroot soup and French fries with roast meat and a salad after this good food we went home to sleep

Today we went to visit the island castle in Trakai was built at the end of the 14th century, but was damaged by the Teutonic Knights in 1377. After being repaired, the castle was expanded to occupy the entire island. Over the course of the 15th century, the castle lost its strategic importance and was transformed first into a noble residence and then into a prison. During a war in the 17th century, the castle was damaged and abandoned, remaining in ruins until the 20th century, in the 20th century. plans began to repair the castle. Today we're going to the trampoline park but you're probably asking yourself "why did you choose to go to a trampoline park?" yesterday I was browsing YouTube shorts and someone appeared to me playing on these trampolines and as always since I was a child I wanted to go to one of those trampoline parks, I looked here near Kaunas when I found Jump Space.

Today we decided to stay at home because it's ALMOST CHRISTMAS UHHHHHHHHHH, we woke up at 11am at lunch time we made Chinese noodles with breaded chicken but no one took a photo because they were all hungry because it was already 3pm and everyone was hungry.

We all woke up late because we had until late watching YouTube and celebrating with family and eating, at lunch time we ordered a McDonald's by Bolt but no one was hungry as usual because everyone was hungry, I ordered the basic Big Mac with potatoes and juice for Except the McDonald's here is better than the Burger King here.

today we woke up around noon, we had to think about where we would go today so as I'm the only one who thinks about where to go on trips I thought about going to alytus, a city near kaunas.

As we woke up quite late, we had breakfast with milk and then at 1:40 pm we left the apartment and arrived at the bus station at 2 pm. We left Kaunas at 3pm and arrived in Alytus around 4pm, as it was already late because in December it gets dark from 4pm.

In Alytus we were going to visit the only museum in the city but it was already closed so we took the opportunity to get to know the city, there were some streets all lit up and we also went to the main park called "Alytus City Park" it was huge.

The “Angel of Liberty” monument was first built in 1929 to commemorate the first decade of Lithuania's independence. The sculptor Dzūkai Antanas Aleksandravičius is the author of the sculpture. The monument has faced challenges from nature and history: in 1934 it was struck and destroyed by lightning (restored three years later). Later in the 1950s, the Angel of Liberty was again taken down for political reasons and in 1991, the statue was restored again.

The memorial called "Silent Bell", dedicated to commemorating the nation's torment. shows all the symbols of memory of the nation's resistance battles in one place. The memorial was designed to honor prisoners and exiles and rebels of the Lithuanian army from 22 to 28 June 1941. The authors of the memorial are sculptor Stasys Žirgulis and architect Leonas Adomkus.

The City Garden, famous for its roses, was opened in 1931 and formed right in the center of Alytus. The second project by municipal engineer V. Trečioko, a fountain with a pool was installed where goldfish swam and lilies bloomed. The idea was to place the fountain in the middle of the park so that everything connects to the fountain. This fountain is one of the symbols of city, where lovers often meet and hold various events.

Today I tried to make it so that for each question there would be a random answer by making a for with a random amount of times that will be repeated taking words that are in an array and making a large or small sentence totally random but I tried to do that it didn't work out very well because It's my first time making an API and I'm more focused on the game dev part

Today I had to do this so that when we send the question to the API it gives random answers but as it's the first time I've done this and of course it didn't work I spent over an hour looking for a tutorial to do this part but I couldn't find it Today it wasn't a very productive day for me, I wish I had more to say but that's it. I didn't do anything on the frontend because the API is giving me headaches to do😭

Today finally there were no potatoes in the main dish it was like duck rice but instead of duck it was with chicken and pickles it was my first time eating pickles that big because at McDonald's it's always a small slice then we decided to go to the donuts again because we wanted to try different donuts today I got a strawberry and vanilla donut which was wonderful if you come to kaunas you have to try the donuts here

then at 9pm we had a meeting to talk about how we were doing and how the projects at school were going and that this would be the penultimate meeting that we were going to have, the last one being next week on the 4th before we go to Vilnius

Today I had to do the chat part to be able to send the prompt to the API and then it will send the response as if it were the chat GPT chat was testing where it would be better to use the chat as we can see in the image on the side the red area it's a div so we can put the chat on that site, then the blue area is where we can write the prompt

I've been making the API take the prompt and give the answers, this part is almost done, all that's left is for the API to do the random phrase with an array. After that, what's left to do is connect the API to the website and check if everything went well.

As we left school early we took the opportunity to go to the museum “Vytautas the Great War Museum” the museum was made up of wars throughout the centuries from before Christ to the present day, in the museum there were several exhibitions that will be shown now:

The history of armaments in the world that shows the evolution of weapons from the 16th to the 20th century. Weapons from almost all parts of Europe are also on display (Japan, Malaysia, North Africa, India, Iran, Turkey, the Caucasus, etc.).

The exhibition “Anti-Nazi and Anti-Soviet Resistance in Lithuania in 1941-1956” is about the June 1941 uprising, the battles for the restoration of Lithuania's independence, Lithuanian local forces and the period of armed resistance 1944-1953.

The exhibition presents the evolution of prehistoric Lithuanian warfare, from the appearance of the first inhabitants in Lithuania, to the creation of the State (from the 11th millennium BC to the first half of the 13th century). Also on display are hunting tools and weapons used in the Stone Age and real weapons that appeared in the Early Bronze Age: stone battle axes, maces, various forms of arrowheads and flint spearheads. Iron Age warfare is a display of spears, fighting knives, swords, face shields, helmets and clothing accessories for knights and horses.

The Vytautas Chapel exhibition recreates the spirit of the 4th decade of the 20th century. Most of the exhibits were displayed 80 years ago. The central place of the Chapel is occupied by the sculpture of Grand Duke Vytautas created by one of the most famous Lithuanian sculptors, Vincas Grybas. The Gallery of Rulers contains 30 portraits, starting with the Lithuanian king Mindaugas, and is completed by the portrait of the last king of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, Stanislaw August Poniatowski.

after we finished seeing the museums we went to do some shopping and came back home when we packed up the food we went to Bernelių užeiga today it was a soup with potatoes and carrots the main dish was purée with meat and a sauce with carrots and a tomato salad, lettuce, carrots and cucumber after we finished I went to buy a dontu it was chocolate with salt it seems strange but it is very good

Today we all woke up very early because today we are going to visit Vilnius (The capital of Lithuania), we all woke up around 5:20am and at 5:40am we went to the train station at 6am we got there at 6:13am we went to buy tickets for Vilnius first class because the price difference between the 1st and 2nd was less than 3 euros after we bought we went straight to the train which was already waiting, interestingly the train we went on to open the door had a button to open so the carriages wouldn't get stuck cold inside, we left Kaunas at 6:31, when we got on the train, first class didn't have anything different except the seats were a little more comfortable, besides it wasn't really worth paying another 2 euros for that.

The journey took 1:30 to Vilnius, some had fallen asleep on the benches, others were watching manga and I was playing clash royale on my phone when we arrived it was still dark at 7:10am we went to eat a little at the MC which was right next door At the station I ate a chocolate donut and a water.

After eating we had to walk to the first museum, we took the opportunity to burn off some calories because it was more than 1km so we had to rest halfway when we arrived at the entrance to the museum it looked like an apartment like the others.
